This is a weekly event initially hosted by J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book Blog, now by Sheila @ One Persons Journey through a world of Books, to celebrate what you are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
Books completed last week
- White Oleander by Janet Fitch
- Last Night in Montreal by Emily St. John Mandel (To be reviewed)
- Liar by Justine Larbalestier (To be reviewed)
- Sugar by Bernice L. McFadden (To be reviewed)
I am currently reading
The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs:
Finally, I started this one last night! Phew! That was a one-month delay for me!For a change, I am not listing any of my next reads. I do have a good reading weekend coming up, hopefully. I'll just try to pick up what suits my interest, rather than plan in advance!

I was never able to finish The Lord of the Rings. I keep saying I need to go back and give it another try, and I keep not doing it. Enjoy your books!
I bet you breeze through The Friday Night Knitting Club!
I won Last Nigh in Montreal and am also looking forward to reading Liar. Oh, and I have the Friday Nigh Knitting Club so can't wait to see your review!
You can never be late to the Tolkien party. I love it when I see Tolkien on people's lists. One of my favorite authors.
White Oleander is a memorable read! And I just read The Friday Night Knitting Club...loved it!
I have seen "Sugar" everywhere - but haven't read it yet. I look forward to your review.

You had a good week reading. Hope next week is fruitful too. I will have to stop back to read your reviews on Liar , Sugar, and Last Night in Montreal.
Whatever you choose to read - I hope it is wonderful and look forward to seeing what you chose :)
I hope you are enjoying LOTR. I am curious about what you thought of Liar. I've read mixed reviews (and I inadvertently found out the big spoiler) so I'm not sure I'll be reading it. The Friday Night Knitting Club looks good. I hope you enjoy your books.

- Sugar by Bernice L. McFadden (To be reviewed)
Very interested to hear what you think of these.
Oh, I've heard great things about Friday Night Knitting Club - looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Great reading week. My boys tell me over and over that I must read LOTRs. Will get to Liar one of these days.
I love it when I'm able to just pick up whichever book suits my mood and read it.
You know...everytime I see your reading The Lord of the Rings it reminds me I need to get you that paper of my husbands! Will remember to ask, I promise!
I actually have a copy of Friday Night Knitting Club and haven't gotten to it yet. I'll have to see if your review pushes that one into my lap!
Have a fabulous reading week!
Yeah, Friday Night Knitting Club is really easy to read. I enjoyed it.
I see you have Middlesex up there on your sidebar. Wonderin' if that'll be comin' up soon. I have that book and haven't read it yet. It's pretty long. I should though. It keeps staring at me. Ha ha
I like to do that too sometimes...just pick up what I'm in the mood for at the moment.
Have a great week, Aths :)
