Meeting friends and planning a party | Weekly Snapshot

Hello, fellow readers and bloggers! Hope you've got a good book that you are lost in currently. Life This was a much needed slower week after weeks of the other kind. Work was busy until Wednesday and then it got quieter, so that helped me have the mental energy to do other things.  The girl's birthday is in 10 days (yes, both my daughter and I share the same birthday month) and we are planning a small party during the following weekend. Guess what theme she wants? Yes, princesses. I wish little girls aspired for more than most of the pink stuff that's paraded at them in the stores. Anyways, I'll be doing some planning for this and trying to pull it together.  There's been another big thing going on for the past couple of months. We've been meeting with a contractor to renovate our kitchen and do hardwood throughout the main floor. It's going to be somewhat massive of an undertaking but we are excited for the end result.
