This is a weekly event initially hosted by J. Kaye at J. Kaye's Book Blog, now by Sheila @ One Persons Journey through a world of Books, to celebrate what you are reading for the week as well as books completed the previous week.
Books completed last week
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (Re-read): This book has been a surprise for me. A big surprise! I'll mention why and post some favorite quotes in my Wednesday feature about this series!
- April 16th: Virginia Tech Remembers by Roland Lazenby (To be reviewed)
Books reviewed from the previous week
- Liar by Justine Larbalestier
- Revisiting Hogwarts Feature Part 1: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
- Sugar by Bernice L. McFadden
I am currently reading
The
Geometry of Sisters by Luanne Rice: I'm already halfway through this book. It's not great by any account, but it's holding my interest for now. There are many things that are bugging me, but so long as it keeps me running on the treadmill, I'm glad. :) My reading plans for the next week
Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by
J.K. Rowling: Re-reading this series has been a fantastic experience so far! I can't wait to continue with the adventures. Not sure what else I will be reading, I'll probably just pick what suits my interest.

I cant wait to read about your Harry Potter thoughts. I love the Potter books. I just rented book 2 on audio from my library because I heard they are so incredible on the audios that I must know why! :)
I have to check out what that Revisiting Hogworths is about. Haven't heard of that one!
I'm with Sheila, the Harry Potter audio books are wonderful! The narrator does a fabulous job!
Liar is (still) on my TBR. I think this summer I'll have to do a whole lotta' reading once school is out!
The April 16th book is very timely. April 16, 2007 was probably the scariest day of my life because it took me a while to get hold of my son. I'm sure I would sob if I read that book.
I'm planning to re-read the Harry Potter series, too! Goblet of Fire is in my top 3 Harry Potter books!
I would love the Virginia Tech book, I already know it. It's my kind of book. Scary and sad.
Do you know that I never read a Harry Potter book? OMG, I can't believe I just said that out loud. lol
Have a great week, Aths :) Lynne's Book Reviews
I enjoyed The Geometry of Sisters, but I'll have to find my review to remember what, if anything, bugged me! That's why I'm glad I review books these days...I can later jog my memory! LOL
Just found your blog and I love it :) I'm a new follower. I'll have to check out your other reviews! . I look forward to stopping by often. :)
I have still not read Liar, but I will soon (I hope). I also would like to reread all the HP books. Hope your have a great week.
This is so funny - I was just thinking about rereading the Harry Potter series before I read this post! I finished the series a while ago and forget all the little details... I really want to start this series again!
Prisoner of Azkaban is one of my favorites. I enjoy rereading or listening to the audiobooks of this series.
I will have to read your review of Liar. Some people seem to love it and others seem to hate it. I don't know if it's one I'd like.
I hope you enjoy whatever you read this week.
I love the Harry Potter series and I've already read them all twice. Don't you find that you pick up on things you missed the first time? For me, that's the best part of a reread.
Have a happy week.
Picking up whatever you want is the best. :) I wish I was at that point right now.
What a week. I never had any interest in Potter. I know. I have no idea why I'm confessing.
I really like and respect Justine Larabalstier as a person and she can write. Does it get any better than that? :-)
