This meme is hosted by Marcia @ The Printed Page. It is the gathering
place for readers to share the books
that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t
count, eBooks & audio books do).My mailbox had a pretty good satiating week this time. I almost crooned with delight as a parcel came in almost every day of this week.
- Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi was a win at Sheila's Book Journey.
- My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares arrived for review from Putnam (Penguin US)
- Denial: A Memoir of Terror by Jessica Stern arrived for review from Harper Collins, courtesy TLC.
- Night by Elie Wiesel: I bought this and the below three books from BetterWorldBooks on an Earth Day coupon. Gotta love BWB!
- The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini: Also from BWB.
- A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini: Also from BWB.

Enjoy your books. I have four this week. PussReboots.
I am a big fan of Better World Books too! Khaled Hosseini's books are two of my favorite of all time - enjoy!
I've read most of these and enjoyed them, if that's the right word. They're emotionally tough to get through, but they're important. The only ones I haven't read are My Name is Memory, which I do want to read, Denial, and Schindler's List. Since I've seen the movie, I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to reading Schindler's List. It's hard for me to read books if I've already seen the movie and know the general idea. Enjoy!
You're going to need some fluff after you read all of those books! They do look great, though. I'm going to check out Better World Books now.
Fantastic list!
I received the Ann Brashares book also. It looks good doesn't it? Enjoy all your new reads!
I think all your books sounds great. I hope you enjoy them.

Happy reading!
The only one I've read is Night by Elie Wiesel. I had to read it in high school, but unlike everyone else that was dreading it, I was super psyched. I read anything that has to do with the holocaust. It's a great read, and will most definitely make you cry!
I have Night in house and yet to read! and of course, you already know that I want to read A Thousand Splendid Suns. :)
Good looking mailbox there. I didn't love the Hosseini books as much as everyone else did but I'm starting to suspect that is a personal failing on my part. ;-)
Great variety of books! Happy reading. My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.
Reading Lolita in Tehran is absolutely fantastic!
