I can sort of see why The Help is such a popular book. I didn't get much reading time for the past two days, but the few pages I read are giving me a good impression of the book!


The footsteps stop. My heart is thumping like a cat in a clothes dryer. What if Miss Celia pretends she doesn't know me so she won't get in trouble? Acts like I'm a burglar? Oh, I hate her! I hate that stupid woman!

i've been seeing this book everywhere. i'm kinda focused on reading romance right now but once i'm back with lit fiction, i'm definitely giving this one a try.

I see this book everywhere but for some reason remain uninterested. Maybe it's overexposure. Good teaser though.
